About the Founder

This work is personal to me.

My grandfather spent 35 years as the full-time caregiver for my grandmother, who lived with schizophrenia. He did it while raising a family and holding down a job, and he never stopped showing up for her. The question that stayed with me was the same one that stayed with him: where do families like ours go for help?

Nobody was standing in the gap for them. That is exactly why I do this work.

I am Hasan Ali, President of ComForCare Home Care San Diego & La Jolla. I took over this agency because I believe families navigating caregiving deserve a real local partner, not a call center. We have been serving Central San Diego for over 20 years and I am out in the community constantly, working alongside local organizations and advocates who share the same goal: making San Diego families always have somewhere to turn.
