Mickey and Nancy Landesberg
Advocates, Parents, Toronto Expats
“We take a very personal approach to everything we do.”
I worked in the entertainment business for 25 years, working mainly with major movie studios, the last of which was Sony Pictures. Toward the end of my 15 years with Sony, I was ready for a change. I wanted to do something that I could really get behind, and the prospect of owning my own business while also doing something that gave back made the idea of making the switch even more appealing.
Around the same time, Nancy also began looking to go back to work. With our two children getting older, it seemed like the perfect time for the both of us to embark on something brand new together.
Back before Mickey and I got married, I worked with adults with developmental disabilities in Toronto, as a caregiver and liaison between the clients, their families and therapists. It was good work, and I always felt like I was making a difference.
So, when Mickey and I were looking to start our own business together, home care was the obvious and natural choice. The ability to help others and inspire them to live their best lives is what I’ve always enjoyed most – be it in my professional work or in volunteering with community associations.
When you choose our ComForCare, you get both of us. Our pledge to you: We will always go out of our way to be there for you and your family. We believe care should be caring, and that means going above and beyond to make sure the services you and your loved ones are receiving is the very best.
We pride ourselves on being reliable and ready 24 hours a day for whatever might come up. And, we are always fully honest with our clients, making sure you know exactly what to expect from your care and what’s going on at every step of the process.
