At ComForCare, our mission is to help people live their best life possible.
Whether due to illness, injury or aging, home care helps people live independently, in their own homes, for as long as possible. In-home care services can assist with everyday activities while maintaining one’s sense of freedom, dignity and connections to friends and family.
Our personalized approach to care sets us apart. We understand every person and every situation is unique, so we use our Superior Process to identify specific needs and create a care plan that meets them
Proactive Startup Process
Strong team involvement at the beginning helps ensure all needs are addressed upfront and creates a more comprehensive care plan.
In-Home Assessments and Reassessments
Our thorough in-home assessment, customized care plan development and ongoing oversight gives peace of mind to clients and family members.
Management Engagement and Quality Assurance Measures
ComForCare is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Our Superior Process includes supervisory visits and ongoing communication to ensure our clients’ satisfaction.
Elite Caregivers and Hiring Process
We match our caregivers and clients based on their personalities, backgrounds and social histories. Caregivers are then trained to work with clients' specific needs and special requests. Each caregiver is bonded and insured, and we ensure they meet a rigorous 10-step hiring process with ongoing training and evaluations through their employment with ComForCare.
How We Can Help
Caregivers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (including holidays) and provide a wide range of daily personal care services including:*
Keeping clients safe in the comfort of their own home is a top priority. Our caregivers provide general supervision and supportive assistance to help bring awareness to trip hazards and reduce falls.
Bathing, Grooming and Hygiene
Qualified caregivers provide respectful assistance with bathing, dressing, hair styling, basic oral care, toileting and incontinence care, and other personal hygiene needs.
Are you caring for a parent or other loved one? Do you need a helping hand? It’s important for family caregivers to take time to rest and recharge. Whether it’s for a few hours a week or daily, we can provide outstanding care and peace of mind when family caregivers need temporary relief from caregiving duties.
Our proprietary program, DementiaWise® engages and enhances the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia while providing support and education for the family. Caregivers take special care to recognize behavioral triggers and use redirection, which may help prevent or reduce any challenging dementia behaviors, while helping clients remain independent for as long as possible.
Meal Planning and Preparation
Tasty and nutritious meals can be made fresh right in the client’s own kitchen. If a client has a special diet or just needs help eating healthier, our caregivers can work with them to plan, shop and cook meals.
Having a caregiver available to help with tasks around the house can give clients and their loved ones more time to spend together making memories. Our caregivers are happy to assist with light housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming and folding laundry.
Reliable transportation helps to maximize independence and offers flexibility in a client’s day. Caregivers can help clients run errands, attend doctor appointments and enjoy social activities outside the home. By providing assistance getting in and out of the car, clients and their family receive the peace of mind they deserve.
Engaging in meaningful activities can provide much-needed social interactions and can help to boost a person’s mood. Caregivers can play board games, read books or the newspaper, engage in musical activities or just have a chat with clients.
Transitions of Care
We have processes in place to help people successfully transition home after a stay in a hospital, rehabilitation center or skilled nursing facility. Our Transitions of Care Program can provide one-time care services or ongoing care plans, which include a nurse’s evaluation of needs, a personalized routine based on the evaluation and home safety checks as needed.
Home care isn’t just for older adults. Anyone who needs a little extra help at home can benefit from our services. ComForCare caregivers can provide non-medical support and assistance to new parents, adults with disabilities, or those recovering from an illness or surgical procedure. In addition, home care services often complement other types of care someone may already be receiving in their home, such as hospice or home health care.
With ComForCare at your side, you can feel confident in the care you or your loved one is receiving. You can feel comfortable knowing a dedicated caregiver is there to help. Our responsive management team is waiting to answer any questions that come up; therefore, you can rest assured you will always be heard, taken care of and able to live your best life possible.
