ComForCare Portage is filled with individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through non-medical home care services. Our team members work to make life easier for individuals dealing with the challenges of aging, living with a chronic medical condition or recovering from an illness or injury while remaining in the comfort of home. Whether a client needs assistance for a few hours per day or around-the-clock care, ComForCare is there to help.
We are happy to have each of these individuals as members of our ComForCare Portage team:
Suzy Wood is our office manager. In addition to answering most of the calls, she handles our scheduling, payroll, billing and other administrative tasks. As a former caregiver, Suzy is aware of what our clients need and what it takes to make a successful relationship between the caregiver and the client. Suzy always keeps in touch with caregivers to ensure they have what they need and to reward them for a job well done. She is also implementing our caregiver appreciation program for those that go above and beyond.

Eric is the owner and operator of ComForCare Portage. Growing up, he saw his grandparents and other family members struggle with sickness or disability and watched as family members cared for them. His father served as a family caregiver for his grandmother, and as time progressed, he could see the impact that caring for a family member had on his dad. This grew into a passion to help make a difference in people’s lives. That’s why he chose ComForCare. His mission every day is to make a difference by offering peace of mind to family members and to provide compassionate home care assistance to help individuals with daily living while staying in the comfort of their homes.
