Services and About Us

Owner Cary Hithon
Cary J. Hithon, CSA, Director of Operations
Sherry A. Hithon, Director of Marketing

Cary Hithon, President of ComForCare Home Care, is a native Marylander from Anne Arundel County who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and spent 26 years in the Navy ultimately retiring with the rank of Captain.  After nine years in the corporate world, he decided to take a different direction.

In the spring of 2013,  Cary wanted to continue the spirit of service and looked for an opportunity for he and his wife to work together.  Cary and his wife Sherry wanted to focus their attention on something that would give them the ability to serve the community in which they live and began researching various industries.  They have always had an affinity and compassion for the elderly and wanted to incorporate this interest into their work.  With that in mind, they acquired and now operate a ComForCare Home Care agency in Prince Georges County.  Their personal experience of watching friends and relatives struggle to provide the type of quality care that everyone desires and demands for themselves and their loved ones motivated them to commit themselves to serve everyone as if they were a member of their own family.

Cary is on the Bowie Glen Allen community Hme Owners Association Board of Directors as the Treasurer and a very active member of Woodstream Church in Mitchelleville as well as an involved member of the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce.  In each of these volunteer efforts, Cary is committed in his efforts to help seniors and others in need.  He is also a Certified Senior Advisor further illustrating his commitment to serving as a resource and servant to seniors and the community.
