“Dear Nancy & Roger, It was a great comfort to hear from you as we celebrate Addie’s life at the end. The flowers were gorgeous and were much appreciated. The care you provided for Addie over the years was exceptional and for that also we are grateful."
-Kevin & Polly
"Roger - You and I met briefly when you came to my Aunt's house and, at this juncture, I'd like to formalize a few of my observations regarding the services provided by ComforCare. "Outstanding" would be the executive summary.
The intake process was thorough, complete, respectful and executing in a pleasing style. Certainly, by the time she took leave, we all knew the plan, what to expect and even what to do if anything didn't go accroding to said plan. I was also able to speak to one of your other Nurses on the phone one evening and she too was quite helpful and reassuring regarding some minor challenges we were facing.
As for our caregiver, who was with us for the entire stay at home and who - to me - is the "face" of your company: I just couldn't say enough good things about the lady. Not only does she know and follow the technical guidelines of her profession (I am a former Physical Therapist and can attest that she was "spot-on" in terms of those parts of the care that would be most familiar to me), but she delivers care with more than a modicum of compassion and understanding - very genuine. I feel fortunate that my Aunt was in her care and I'm sure you already realize, but I will reinforce, how fortunate your organization and your patients are to have her on your team.
It's not easy coordinating things from across the country and I had no idea what I might be walking into upon arrival in New Jersey, but next trip out this aspect of the journey will be one thing I'll worry far less about."

"Nancy, as I manage through my grieving of my parents, I think fondly of you and your team. The support and care you provided to not only my parents as they managed their journey, but to me was kind and considerate. Everyone on the team always knew what to say to ease our worries. Augusta was our angel in her devotion to mom and dad. Thank you for entering our lives and helping us through such a sad time."

"I wanted to thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work at ComForCare. I have felt so welcomed by everyone from the company. Everyone is very caring and I can tell you care very much about the clients you provide services to and also the employees that work for this company. I wish you more success with the company's growth in the future. Thank you!"

"On behalf of my mother and I, please accept our heartfelt thanks again for all your help in her home care. Her home care aides - Zoula (Erica) and Isabel were genuine, caring and so kind. The occasional substitute staff were very capable and seamlessly filled in. Their patience with my mom as she made her final journey was heartfelt. The office staff was very kind to me and very much appreciated in these past few months. I would also like to thank Doreen for your personal touch in your mailings to me."
-- Carmella D.
"Thank you so much for helping my family during the time my uncle was in the hospital and before he passed away. As always, your compassionate and calm support makes difficult situations so much easier. Thank you!"

“I just cannot send in this survey without adding my own feelings about Norberta. I've told you in the past how much I think of her and I'll say it again. Not only myself, but my family as well, consider her a big part of our family. Before Burry passed on, he felt the same way about her. We all love her. She couldn't be more kind or thoughtful or compassionate toward us. My dog even loves to see her come in.
I never have to tell her what to do. She automatically knows exactly what I want. She's just wonderful. She is very professional and always spotless and clean. I trust her implicitly. I consider Norberta my good friend, not just someone who comes in to do her job. Norberta is always ready and more than willing to go the extra steps to make you smile and feel better.
I can't thank you enough for sending her to us.”
"Thanks to all at ComForCare. You made the last year with our Mom so much easier. You were always very responsive to both her and our needs. Your willingness to help us with our large and small issues took away much of our concern for our Mom's daily life. Thank you again."

"However would I have been able to manage everything without your help? You and all of your staff made it possible for me to keep Bill at home where he was always happy. I miss the aides who were all very special and capable. We both became very fond of all of them and appreciated their little differences of personality. You were always "there for me" when needed and you spared me so much stress for which I will always be grateful."
-- Client's wife, Bridgewater, NJ
"I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful care that you gave my mother, Ann, over the past two years and especially during the last six months. The caregivers you provided were professional and caring women who treated my mother with respect.
I realize and truly appreciate the effort that you and your entire team put into staffing aides around the clock for my mother. I knew that we were in good hands and that my mother would always be taken care of especially during the times when I was not there. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that you and Donna would check in on my mother almost weekly to insure that she was happy and being cared for in accordance with your standards.
I also want to commend you for the outstanding job you did at resolving any and all issues we had no matter how small they were. You always listened and responded without hesitation when we needed to change procedures or aides to meet my mother's every changing needs and declining health.
I would be remiss if I did not mention the true dedication of several aides that were with my mother - Lana is a wonderful woman full of compassion and caring ... she called my mother "her baby" and always treated her with great respect - I could count on Lana to keep me up to date on everything, she is a treasure. Laura spent many nights with my mother and was another example of true dedication and caring. And while Abigail was only with my mother for a few weeks, she was with my mother and I at the end and I found her to be a great comfort and a beautiful and caring young woman.
It is very clear that you and your team love your work and you do an outstanding job at providing the assistance required. Please know that you not only aid the individual that you provided the services to, but also their entire family ... I am thankful that we had you as part of our lives at a time when we needed the help to give my mother the care she needed.
Thank you again for all that you did for my mother and our family ... you are all angels!"
"I will never forget what you and your people did for Cathy and I."
"My family and I would like to thank you and all of your staff or the care my mother received in her apartment after her release from rehab.
Yolanda was the perfect choice for Mom. We had anticipated reluctance on Mom's part to having anyone assisting her, but she accepted Yolanda right from the start. She treated her with kindness, respect and love and saw that Mom needed gentle coaxing and distraction rather than a more forthright approach. Yolanda was also very helpful in talking so positively to Mom about Foothill Acres when we went for the tour. It helped make the transition go more smoothly for us.
Nancy M. was an unexpected surprise. Little did we know that we contracted for an aide, we would get a wealth of knowledge and assistance from Nancy. She told us about resources that we never would have been aware of and saved us countless hours of work, research and phone calls.
Nancy, both Yolanda and Nancy are treasures in our eyes. Our only regret in putting Mom into nursing care is not being able to continue this relationship. If we can be of any assistance in providing recommendations, please let us know."

"On behalf of my parents, Bill and Terry J., and my siblings, Beth and Jeff, just wanted to say thanks for your agency's assistance in helping us navigate through my mother's recuperation period, following her injury.
Irene was very supportive and helpful, and I know that the light shopping meals she prepared and her caring for the laundry, cleaning and other household tasks, as well as getting my mom out and around the block for fresh air, all contributed to her recovering - as well as helping to lighten the load for my dad. Irene proved to be a wonderful choice as a person who could help them get back on track and we were pleased with how she managed.
So thanks! It was a pleasure dealing with you and your staff - and the ComForCare "process" was clear and simple and responsive - always a blessing when you need to wade through life issues! Thanks again for the aide. It's good to know we have a resource when these situations develop."

"This letter is a long-time coming. Many months have passed since my Mom passed away, and it doesn't make this time of year easy, missing both Mom and Dad. But I wanted to take this time to thank you so, so much for the wonderful care that ComForCare afforded both my Mom and Dad during their last few years. I was always a little fearful of someone coming into their home and taking care of their daily needs, especially living almost 1,000 miles away. But that feat left the moment I met you, Nancy and then Roseline, their caretaker extraordinare! Roseline was a "perfect match."
Roseline not only became Mom and Dad's caretaker, but their friend, and, more importantly, a part of our family within a short amount of time. Roseline assisted my parents and myself in many, many ways, and I know she went "beyond the call of duty" on a number of occasions.
Your office staff was exceptional, keeping me informed each and every time I needed information or assistance; I especially want to thank Nancy (nurse) for all the time she took to get everything in order for Mom as Hospice took over while Roseline was hospitalized. Nancy kept me informed all the way through the scheduling and updating of all that would be done to assist my Mom during her last month of life.
If I can ever be a reference for your services, do not hesitate to call me. Words really cannot convey the feelings I have about your wonderful ComForCare service."
"Nancy, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. As we went down the bumpy road from needing sporadic care to full-time care, you answer was always "yes we can." It made me feel like I wasn't alone."
"Just wanted to let you know that dad passed away peacefully tonight. My family cannot thank you enough for all the love and support you and your aides provided dad. From Grace, Christina and his special angel, Sandra, they were always there. If you ever need a recommendation from our family, do not hesitate to ask."

"This is a letter of appreciation for the services provided by your company and your home health aide, Joyce T. My family is very pleased with the care Joyce is giving my mother, Anne T. She is a very kind and compassionate companion and takes exceptional care of Anne. Joyce does an excellent job of preparing nutritious meals that my mother enjoys and keeps the household clean. I couldn't have asked for or found a better caretaker.
Thank you for providing this essential service and for sending us Joyce."
As another winter together draws to a close, I want to tell you what having H. J. with us meant and hwo grateful we are.
From the first, H. brough a sense of tranquility and trust. She does her difficult job (I know because I do it too) with efficiency, compassion and the strenght that is the heralf of a true calling.
In my own recent medical emergency, she stepped in and took charge. While I was in the hospital, I knew my husband was safe and in good hands.
I wish, through you, to thank her once again and to congratulate you for having this caliber of people in your employ.
An example of H.'s creative approach: my husband is now happy with his remote control without batteries and feels 'in control' and the TV is safe from constant shut down."
