Is it the Right Time to Seek Help?
For many people, one of the most difficult things in life is facing the reality that someone close to you is growing older. Four years ago, Randy and Debi Kyle were faced with the realization that Randy’s mother was suffering from dementia, along with a number of other health issues. Despite the fact that she wanted to stay at home more than anything, her family had to make the difficult decision to place her into an assisted living community – the only one in town. She could look out the window of her little apartment enough to see across the street at the corner of the house where she had lived for 50 years. Like so many families today, children were scattered, not close enough to care for their aging mother to the degree that was best for her.
After having gone to make this difficult decision in their own lives, it was then that the Kyles decided that they would like to be able to help other families. So many families go through the confusion and frustration of trying to figure out how to keep their loved ones at home. ComForCare Home Care in Vancouver owners Randy and Debi Kyle are personally invested in assisting others find the best way to allow their loved ones to live at home safely and independently for as long as possible.
