"Nikki has been caring for my mom for nearly a year now. My mom and I have been very pleased with her care since day one. She rose to the challenge of the language barrier and they now have established their own way to communicate. Sometimes my mom speaks to her in Chinese, like she understands. They have developed a wonderful relationship. Nikki has an exceptional ability to care for the elderly. She understands the life changes they go through such as Dementia, depression, and decreased mobility. She adjusts her communication and approach to her care based on how my mom is feeling each day which can change daily. Nikki is consistently punctual and very reliable. She has not missed a scheduled shift. Having Nikki as mom's caretaker has been a blessing. I extend my appreciation to her regularly, but I feel that her leadership should be aware that they have an exceptional employee. I don't know how your annual performance reviews work, but she definitely should be compensated for her performance."
