Staying Happy and Healthy in Challenging Times
Keep Your Brain Active with Total Brain Health
Dear ComForCare Customers and Families,
These are difficult times that we are navigating due to Covid-19. As we distance ourselves from one another, it's important to know that we are not alone. We recognize the sacrifice being made for your health and those around you. Although we might not be with each other at the moment, we are all in this together.
Mental health is a major priority, as we all try to stay safe and isolate ourselves. Loneliness can negatively impact a person's mental and even physical health. ComForCare has been working hard to find creative solutions to combat loneliness. We hope that we will be able to use these unique circumstances to bring our community together.
If your loved one is interested in a Brain Health Tool Kit provided by Total Brain Health, please call the Call our office. This Brain training system includes 100 different brain exercises that you can do from home to keep your mind sharp and lower dementia risk. This program was developed by Dr. Cynthia Green, an expert on memory fitness and brain health.

Be A Pen-Pal This Summer!
We have also been collaborating with a The University Club kids summer camp to start a Pen-Pal project. This will allow children, ages six through fifteen, to practice writing skills and learn a non-electronic form of communication. Most importantly, they will be able to meet, build a relationship, and share their experiences with someone new.
This also allows you or your loved one to interact with others safely. Participants will be able to receive and send letters weekly through the University Club. Building relationships is one of the best ways to combat depression and loneliness. We hope that this project will spread joy as we fight this virus together. If you are interested in signing your family member up to receive and send letters, please click the link below.
You do not need to be a client of ComForCare to participate, so please share with your friends and family. This is a free service.
