As a registered nurse for 18 years, I reached a point in my career and life where I knew it was time for the next chapter in my career. After 2 years of research, the path was clear, ComForCare was the solution.  With a passion for caregiving, a love for my community, and most importantly, the desire to ensure our loved ones age safely in place.  Opening ComForCare Rio Grande Valley felt like the solution.  I am committed to ensuring ComForCare RGV provides a higher standard of care for our clients and families in the Rio Grande Valley. Throughout the years working as an ICU Nurse at local hospitals, school nursing in San Benito, and my past 10 years proudly serving our local veterans, I am honored to be given the opportunity to contribute to preserving the dignity and quality of life for the seniors in my community. As the owner and a registered nurse, I understand all aspects of the care continuum.  I know the importance of providing our loved ones with a better option for care and safely aging in place.  My goal is to make a difference in the lives of each and every client.

Larissa Vallejo - Director of Operations

Larissa Vallejo is a seasoned customer service and administrative expert with over 10 years of experience. Currently she is obtaining her medical and coding certificate.   Larissa has a passion for helping others at every stage of the aging process.  With extensive experience in scheduling and correspondence, she is an asset to assist with client and caregiver scheduling.  As a Certified Nurse Assistant Larissa’s advanced knowledge in the healthcare field provides our caregiver team the training needed to provide our clients the best care possible. Having held positions in medical and business fields, Larissa has increased efficiency in every role and is ready to provide exceptional training for new caregivers.  Thru interaction with new and existing clients and caregivers, Larissa is focused on employee retention, recruitment, and marketing.  In her new role at ComForCare Rio Grande Valley Larissa brings her experience improving satisfaction rating, leading to improved retention of qualified caregivers.
